The Wembley Cup 2010
Four teams – Two Days – One Wembley
The Wembley Cup is a two-day pre-season friendly football tournament held at one of the world’s greatest football arenas and the home of football – Wembley Stadium. 2009 saw four world-class teams, FC Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, Celtic and Al Ahly, compete to lift the coveted Cup. Over 90,000 spectators attended the event!
Alton Towers (20 minutes from Keele)
Just 20 minutes from Keele. Alton Towers is Britain’s biggest Theme Park. If you are looking for a day packed full of excitement and fun, you will find it here. 2010 introduces a fantastic new ultimate thriller ride ‘Th13teen Roller Coaster Ride’.
WaterWorld Aqua Disco (15 minutes from Keele)
Water World is the UK’s number one Tropical Indoor Aqua Park. The Facility is built around a wave pool with slides, rides, flumes and features available. There is plenty to do for all ages, weak and strong swimmers. Only 15 minutes from the university.
